Accessibility Statement

What we’ve done

• Audited and corrected color contrast across the app’s light and dark themes so body text, financial figures (gains/losses, streaks, XP), and interface borders meet WCAG’s minimum contrast ratios — not just the brand palette in isolation, but how those colors are actually used throughout the app.
• Verified every interactive element — buttons, links, forms, the investing simulator’s trade dialog, navigation menus — is reachable and operable using only a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator at every step. Dialogs trap focus while open, move focus in when they open, and return it to where you were when closed.
• Added screen-reader labels and descriptions to icon-only controls, form inputs, and charts (which are otherwise just images to assistive technology), and corrected the heading structure across the app so screen readers and other assistive tech can navigate it in a logical, predictable order.
• Use semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks — real buttons and links rather than clickable elements built from generic containers, labeled navigation regions, proper dialog roles — wherever the underlying structure matters, not just how it looks.

What this isn’t

This is a good-faith engineering effort, not a certified accessibility audit by a third-party specialist or testing with actual assistive-technology users — both of which we’d recommend before treating this as a legal compliance guarantee. Accessibility is also an ongoing target, not a one-time checkbox: as Nummi adds features, we intend to hold new ones to the same standard, but we won’t claim the app is flawless. If you use a screen reader, switch access, voice control, or any other assistive technology and run into something that doesn’t work, we want to know — that’s more useful to us than a page that just claims everything is perfect.
